Urbanesque Planning was incorporated as a company in 2007 and was operated prior to that as a sole proprietorship.
The firm is based in Sydney but we undertake projects throughout the whole of New South Wales.
PROJECTS
Other services include:-
Supplementing our development skills, Urbanesque Planning can also assist with visionary policy creation such as the writing or review of development control plans, determining achievable land use outcomes and proven facilitation. Partnering with architects, landscape architects, urban designers and heritage planners, we can provide a comprehensive service as consultants or lead consultants.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
Objections to Development Applications
As a general rule we do not prepare objections to development applications. We do however act as expert witnesses in the Land and Environment Court for Councils if we can reasonably support a case for the refusal of an application.
Building Information Certificate Applications
Building Information Certificates are the mechanism for regularising unauthorised building work and usually require a greater level of documentation than development applications.
Lobbying
We do not lobby state or local government politicians.
Conflicts of Interests
Mr Sarich does not undertake project work directly with Lane Cove Council or the City of Ryde Council in the event of a conflict of interest arising. A conflict will arise if an application is of a kind that will be determined by the Local Planning Panel (LPP) as Mr Sarich is a member of the Lane Cove and Ryde Panels.
This does not prevent other members of our staff undertaking project work within these Council areas.
